Achieving Instant Style: Go Mono

Why is it that monochromatic looks are so popular?

For one the look is clean and trendy but most important it  is so easy to achieve. The whole mission of The Working Beauty is to make style convenient. Convenient meaning easy. What easier way to achieve style than to stick to one color.  Find multiple pieces of clothing in one color- and put them together and wallah you have a instant fashion forward, stylish, and trendy look.

Monochromatic works in any color purple, gray, cream, red, yellow, blue, olive. You get my point. And honestly I don't have a lot to say or explain because it really is just that easy. One question, you may is whether the chosen color pieces have to match exactly and the answer is most definitely not.

This by far is one of my favorite monochromatic looks done by @goldendiamonds.

The goal is to have the colors in the same family appear cohesive.

Although shade matching is a thing, honestly, it gives your look more depth if they do not match perfectly. So get your monochrome on and I don't just mean in all black.
